Geneva Preview Maserati Adds Two More Seats to GranTurismo MC Stradale
When Maserati launched the GranTurismo MC Stradale back in 2010 at the Paris Motor Show, its goal was to create a more performance-orientated version of the Pininfarina-designed coupe, with more power, less weight and a stiffer suspension, which is why the Italians dropped the rear seats.
Now, Maserati is getting ready to premiere a new sub-version of the GranTurismo MC Stradale that keeps the regular models four-seat configuration at next weeks Geneva Motor Show.
Other than that (which of course, should bring an weight, though, Maserati hasnt released an official figure yet), the 4-seater GranTurismo MC Stradale is identical to its 2013MY 2-seater sibling wearing the same exterior outfit highlighted by a carbon fibre bonnet that frames a central air intake, a rear diffuser and 20-inch forged alloy rims.
The same applies under the hood with the 4-seater model featuring a 4.7-liter naturally-aspirated V8 pushing out 460PS (454hp) linked to an MC Race Shift 6-speed robotized manual gearbox, which allow for a top speed of 302km/h (188mph) that is identical to the 2-seater MC Stradale.

Frankfurt Preview New Suzuki Swift Sport
The new Swift Sport is powered by a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine with an output of 135HP at 6,900 rpm and maximum torque of 160 Nm (118 lb/ft) at 4,400 rpm. The four-cylinder engine was developed especially for the Swift Sport and it transmits power to the front wheels via a newly developed six-speed manual gearbox.
According to Suzuki, the new Swift Sport is more refined than its predecessor that was launched in 2006. The company says it will also be more responsive thanks to struts with internal rebound springs and a redesigned rear suspension.
While it has a more aggressive look than the regular versions thanks to the large honeycombed front grille, the redesigned front bumper with the big fog lights and the side skirts, it isnt as wild as the Swift S-Concept we saw at the Geneva Show last March.
Although Suzuki has not released any photos of the interior, the company claims that “it combines essential sportiness with a high-quality look and feel”.
