Nissan Note Second Generation

The second generation of the Nissan Note will come in October with a new repositioning: confront the utility segment B and leave behind the label minivan. Without abandoning this concept of the whole, the new Note is updated deeply with a significant technological burden under his arm. We tell you our first impressions at the wheel.

The new Nissan Note lands in the market with new claims, settled in a new technological burden on the B-segment, the utilities, a deep redesign exterior and a cockpit of greater perceived quality, a greater modularity in the trunk and, how could it be otherwise, more efficient engines.

Nissan Note Inside

Nissan has highlighted during our presentation on Austrian and Slovak lands, that the objective of the new Note is the stand up to the utility of the B-segment, Ford Fiesta and Volkswagen Polo. Back they want to leave their definition of minivan that did not serve them to achieve great sales with the first generation. However, the Note II not leaves behind all this concept, by adopting own MPV solutions: functional trunk with tray in three different positions, rear seats slide longitudinally to win space charge, a higher roof line in the area of pillar C and in the drivers seat armrest

Dynamically, the new Nissan Note committed to the comfort of March, comfort for its occupants with engines perhaps something short of power, but that fulfilled its mission to get some fuel consumption really contents - especially in its variant Diesel - and CO2 emissions, all of them below the 120 g/km, which makes it to be exempt from road tax.

The mechanical variants which becomes the second generation Nissan Note are, in gasoline, a cylinder 80 hp 1.2 and 1.2 supercharged by compressor and 98 HP, and already in Diesel engine 1.5 dCi 90 HP of the Renault-Nissan alliance. Only 98 CV engine 1.2 may be associated with stepless Variator CVT automatic change, while series they will go with a five-speed manual gearbox.
